Have you seen the "that girl" all over your TikTok, Pinterest or Youtube feed. I've watched countless "that girl" morning routines and day in a lives. But I haven't seen a simplified how to become that girl. How can I achieve this level of calm, balanced, fulfilling life? How can I be this confident and effortless? Keep reading to find out.


I did my research. Scoured the internet for hours about "that girl" and all the things that someone would do in order to be, the essence of her. Essentially that girl isn't a person or a style; it's a mindset and a lifestyle. That girls wake up bright and early at 5 am to start their day. Their healthy, balanced day consists of healthy habits, self-care, routine and productivity. Let me break this down.


Healthy Habits

  • Drinking enough water

  • Eating balanced meals

  • Not doom scrolling

  • Submitting assignments and homework on time

  • Setting goals

  • Make a vision board

Self-care

  • Everything showers

  • Maintaining hygiene

  • Consistent skincare routine

  • Journaling

  • Mediation

Routine

  • Waking up at the same time everyday

  • Consistent workouts

  • Yoga

  • Pilates

  • Walks

  • Getting enough sleep

  • Not staying up late

Productivity

  • Clean room

  • Organize

  • Do laundry and dishes

  • Time management

  • Being intentional

  • Prioritizing tasks

  • Minimize distractions


I know this seems like a lot and is honestly overwhelming. But that girl does what's best for her and customizes her routine to fit her needs and lifestyle. That being said, everything about that girl is healthy, clean and fueling, so how is it that it's so Pinterest-worthy? Well it's because the that girl aesthetic romanticizes everything. That's where you start. If your baking cookies, slow down, enjoy the moment, snap a picture, live in the present. Or if your taking a shower, pretend your getting a facial and a full body treatment. Lather your skin, absorb the hydration, feel the cleanse. You could literally be walking into a store, slow your steps, straighten your posture, soften your face, relax, decompress. "That girl" lives in the moment and enjoys everything. You don't need a 20 step skincare routine or a seemingly perfect life. You just need to feel good. This includes confidence and having a positive relationship with your body and food. The second you start to feel happy and at peace, you will truly radiate that energy. And that is how you can become "that girl."
