Here are some healthy and delicious smoothies packed with antioxidants and vitamins to help your skin glow. They're also easy to make, perfect for busy mornings when you're on the go or for a slow, relaxing morning when you want to treat yourself.

P.S. You will need a blender for all of these recipes.

Green Smoothie🥬🥒

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup chopped pineapple

  • 2 cups spinach or kale

  • 1/2 avocado sliced

Add all ingredients to a blender (you can substitute coconut water for water) and blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Transfer to a cup and scrape the sides clean. For me, the banana and avocado hide the taste of all the other vegetables. Trust me you won't be able to taste the spinach! This smoothie is a great way to get your greens in and really helps with digestion and hydration since avocados and coconut water are great for that.

Mango Kiwi Smoothie🥭🥝

Ingredients:

  • 1 chopped mango fresh or frozen

  • 2 sliced kiwis

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • Drizzle of honey

Combine ingredients and blend for 1-2 minutes. If you prefer a lighter smoothie, swap the milk for orange juice for an extra boost of vitamin C. Yogurt can be any flavor you like, I like peach, vanilla, mango, banana in this smoothie. Honey is optional, you could also do maple syrup or a teaspoon of sugar if the fruit isn't sweet. This smoothie feels very tropical and I recommend only making this is you have ripe kiwis and mangos. Make sure they are in season.

Mixed Berry Smoothie🫐🍓

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • A handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • A handful of blackberries

  • A handful of raspberries

  • 1 cup mixed berry yogurt

  • Splash of milk

You can change out the berries and if you don't have fresh fruit, you can buy a pack of frozen mixed berries. The yogurt doesn't have to be mixed berry flavor but this helps enhance the berry flavor. I drink this smoothie at least once a week because I can keep frozen berries in my freezer for months at a time. This is one of my favorites and you can customize the ingredients and ratios every time.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie🍓🍌

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strawberries

  • 1 banana

  • Drizzle of honey

  • 1 cup greek yogurt

  • 1 cup milk

  • A fresh strawberry (for garnish)

The Greek yogurt is good in this smoothie because it adds a tanginess and helps the strawberry pop more. Strawberry garnish isn't required but honey is. A drizzle of honey helps bind the sweetness of the strawberry and the creaminess of the banana. This one is a classic and you can top with chia seeds or granola or even add some shredded coconut for more flavor.

I hope you enjoy making these easy and nutritious smoothies. These smoothies are packed with nutrients that support healthy skin and overall wellness. Try one this week and let me know which one becomes your go-to favorite.
